After graduating with a BFA from the Columbus College of Art and Design, I've worked as an illustrator at Hallmark Cards creating illustrations for greeting cards including multi-panel pop fold musical and lights cards, apparel, gifts, home decor, memory keeping albums and books. More recently I’ve illustrated Ready For Kindergarten, published by Harper Collins/Clarion Books, a four book collection of folk tales from around the world, for Dorling Kindersley, early reader board books for Image Group, and products for Djeco. I’ve also worked with a design team to create art work for murals, including donor walls, for Ronald McDonald houses in Chicago and Hong Kong.
My inspiration comes from retro-Scandinavian modern design, folk art, dance, a wide range of eclectic music and Dr. Sketchy's, a monthly meet up figure drawing class.
My favorite pastimes include traveling, flamenco dance lessons, and doodling on cocktail napkins at the Green Lady Lounge.
